Sarker Shams Bin Sharif - Digital Content and Fundraising Manager

Shams (he/him) joined JCWI in March 2023, to help reach and engage more people digitally and help keep our  supporters engaged. You can reach him at [email protected]. 

Before joining JCWI, Shams completed a masters in International Liaison and Communication(Currently called International Communication, Advocacy and Liaison) from University of Westminster. Prior to that, he worked in communications and digital engagement, fundraising, volunteering for a range of national and international charities, including Campaign For Tobacco Free Kids, Migrants Voice, Greenpeace, Save Sundarbans From Oilspill, Green Circle Alliance. 

He is the co-founder of 12 Vaja that works to ensure the rights of grassroots trans and non-binary people in Bangladesh.
